The Solution Showcase
Meet LA’s Ro Blvd, one of our out of town guests for The Solution Showcase #9 on 9/22…
SATURDAY, 9/22 at 7PM -> In one of the great tragedies of hip hop, LA’s Ro Blvd somehow remains one of the most slept-on producers out, despite having produced the entirely of U-N-I’s modern LA rap classic A Love Supreme, working with both members (Thurzday & Y-O) post U-N-I-breakup, crafting the cult classic Laffy Taffy Rots Your Teeth with his BrekFast Club crew, as well as producing jams for LA favorites El Prez (“Gone”), Skeme (“I’m So Cold”), Krondon, Shawn Jackson & more. If you’ve been paying attention to The Solution for a while, you might also recognize Ro as one of the hosts of The Solution Tape #1 (along with fellow Solution Showcase #9 guest Thurzday and Y-O, back before U-N-I split up). We were first introduced to his earlier works in 2004 or so by one of his first collaborators and fellow Solution Showcase #9 guest Free Speech and have since watched Ro develop a progressive, diverse but still signature sound that just oozes California smoothness.

A few weeks ago, Ro released his official solo debut and one of our favorites of 2012, Heart Pounding Panic, featuring collaborations with Thurzday, Y-O, Micah James, Krondon, Cali Cush, Shawn Jackson, former Solution/Goodness guest Theo Martins & more. The lead singles; the super banger “Great Going Good” (check the video above), the dream-like “Cyst” & laid back BBQ-anthem “Summer Solstice” are all ridiculously good and have been getting steady spins at Solution & Goodness events all year, so you’re probably familiar with them even if you don’t know the tracks by name. Hit the links and videos in this post to get more familiar with Ro’s music, the quality it exudes is far more telling than anything I can type in a post.

Now that you’re a little more familiar, don’t miss Ro Blvd at The Solution Showcase #9 with LA’s Thurzday & Free Speech, CO hip hop icons Prime Element, elusive DJ/producer Fast Forward, DJ Low Key & more on Saturday, 9/22 at the Meadowlark (2701 Larimer St). We know there are a lot of other events going on the same night, so we’re starting early at 7PM sharp and giving anyone who shows their ticket/ticket stub from another 9/22 event $3 off cover (only $5 for this crazy lineup instead of $8) to help you maximize the last official day of Summer. 21+ /// $5 Pre-sales now available at all three Family Affair locations & get you 15% off your entire purchase /// $8 at the door /// Doors at 7pm.
To get more familiar with Ro Blvd, check out a few more videos for Ro-produced songs below, this fantastic Smoking Section interview with him Y-O & Thurz from when A Love Supreme dropped, and the great inset interview with Andrea 3Stacks after the jump to get familiar with one of the best young producers out.

Saturday, 9/22 at 7PM -> The Solution Showcase #9 w/Ro Blvd (LA) feat. Thurzday & Free Speech, Prime Element, Fast Forward, DJ Low Key & more at the Meadowlark…
SATURDAY, 9/22 at 7PM -> After getting things back on track with another packed Solution Showcase last month, we’re back for The Solution Showcase #9 with wunderkind producer Ro Blvd (LA), Thurzday (LA/formerly of U-N-I) & Free Speech (The Bay/BrekFast Club), CO hip hop icons Prime Element, elusive DJ/producer Fast Forward, DJ Low Key & more at the Meadowlark (2701 Larimer St). You might remember Ro Blvd and Thurzday as 2/3 of the hosts from The Solution Tape #1 (back before U-N-I split up). They’ll be joining Free Speech (of Laffy Taffy Rots Your Teeth/BrekFast Club fame) as our featured out of town acts for the night. We’ll also be featuring A.V.I.U.S., Es Nine & Cysko Rokwel aka Prime Element as our Denver artists and acclaimed musician/producer/DJ Fast Forward as our featured CO producer.
Also, we know there are a lot of other events going on the same night, so we’re starting early and giving anyone who shows their ticket/ticket stub from another 9/22 event $3 off cover (only $5 for this crazy lineup instead of $8) to help you maximize the last official day of Summer. And don’t worry if you’re not familiar with someone on the bill, a big part of The Solution Showcase is about discovering dope new music and we’ll be linking up music, videos and more info on all the artists as we get closer to the party. So stay tuned to DenverSolution.com to learn more about the performers and hopefully we’ll see you on 9/22! 21+ /// $5 Pre-sales now available at all three Family Affair locations & get you 15% off your entire purchase /// $8 at the door /// Doors at 7pm.
UPDATE #1: Since 9/22 marks the official end of Summer on the calendar and we’re starting early anyway, we’re going to do something fun and new and have the first half of the party on the patio’s outdoor stage (including some of our featured performances). We that said, we’re going to kick things off right at 7PM. This isn’t the month to come out fashionably late, but it should be worth beating the clock to get a bonus night in on the patio.
Meet Black Jordan, our featured Denver producer for The Solution Showcase #8 aka The Basement Instinct Release Party on Saturday, 8/25 at the Meadowlark…
Denver, meet Black Jordan (aka Jay Gunna) of Team Latchkey & The D.O.P.E. Game. The 22-year old producer is one of Denver’s best kept secrets, although the word has started getting around after his standout appearance at The Solution Beat Battle in February and the release of Team Latchkey’s debut EP, Earwax, last month. Hot on it’s heels, Black Jordan is dropping his debut beat tape, Basement Instinct (mixed by DJ Dozen), at The Solution Showcase #8, which is doubling as the official Basement Instinct Release Party. Since he’s still a relatively new cat on the scene, I interviewed Black Jordan to get us all some more details on his music, Team Latchkey, his Basement Instinct beat tape, his plans to drop a beat tape per month this Fall & his set at The Solution Showcase tonight.
So first off, Black Jordan, Jay Gunna, what’s up with the name(s)?
The homies always called me Gunna back in the day and i never really knew why, haha. All I knew was I didn’t really feel it though. I had a white homie named Jordan too, so it got to the point where we had to specify which Jordan where we were talking about. Then before you know it boom. Black Jordan. It just stuck.
You’re part of Team Latchkey, how did you link up with the group? What’s it like being in a group with 2 producers?
Team Latchkey is peoples. I grew up with those cats. So it only made sense, they were as dedicated to hip hop as i was. Being in a group with two producers is dope, DealzMakesBeats is a incredible producer. Sometimes we bump heads, but it ends up contrasting to our advantage. That’s my nigga for life. It’s also nice having some competition to keep up with haha.
The firist time you popped up on a lot of people’s radars was at The Solution Beat Battle back in February, what was that like?
Mannn, I’m glad you asked that. The Solution Battle was like my first experience doing me out of the group. Before that I had no idea people were even feeling my beats, so to experience something like that, with so many talented artist showing me love for my music, was an honor. I didn’t win, nor did I come close haha but that was fun as shit. I definitely wanna get more into the battle scene.
This Saturday is also the release party for Basement Instinct…What’s the project all about (besides the dope name)?
The only thing I want it to be about is hip hop. I obtained a record collection from my grandfather who passed away a while back. They ain’t many, but these records mean a lot to me. It only made sense to create a tape out of ’em. So I made some basement shit.
I’m sorry to hear he passed….Is the project 100% samples from his collection?
Most of them, yes..
How would you describe the project’s sound?
It’s different…It’s definitely got two styles on it. Some of the tracks have a boom bap feel, but the next one might by hype a fuck. I tried to keep it groovy. some shit you party to, some shit you roll up to.
You’re a young cat, what other younger producers inspire you?
I honestly cant think of young cats that have inspired me… the people that have inspired me most are local artist that I’ve grown to know over the past few years. But some of my biggest influences right now are Chuck Inglish, Spaceghostpurrp, Clams Casino, Gramatik, Lex Luger, Flying Lotus and J.Cole.
Who are some of the local artists who’ve inspired you?
Big J Beats first and foremost. Gyp Da Hyp, Q-Knox and DJ Check One are just a few. I won’t even start to name all of the local artist in general that inspire me.
What are you working on now that Basement Instinct is almost out?
My goal is to come out with a beat tape every month for each month of this Fall/Winter. I need to play catch up.
And what’s next for Team Latchkey?
We just released The Earwax EP on bandcamp about a month ago. I’m pretty exited about it. As for what’s next we are all working on our solo projects. Which I’m super stoked to see what we all come up with.
As your name gets bigger, are there any artists on your “must work with” list?
I’ve got my eye on the whole TDE crew haha. Them dudes are crushin shit right now. Oh yeah, and I gotta work with that cat Dom Kennedy.
Speaking of Dom Kennedy, our out of town feature for The Solution Showcase #8, BrandUn DeShay, has produced some tracks for him. What are your thoughts on BrandUn and his music?
I came up on that cats music a few months back, and I’m lovin it. It was actually inspiring to see us young dudes making moves. Great producer. Great Emcee. What more could you ask for?
What can people expect from your production set tonight at The Solution Showcase #8?
Energy.
Don’t miss Black Jordan at The Solution Showcase #8, alongside Chicago’s BrandUn DeShay, Bianca Mikahn, DJ Low Key & Lazy Eyez, inside at the Meadowlark (2701 Larimer St). Starts at 9pm/21+/$5 pre-sales at all three Family Affair locations or $8 at the door.

Meet Bianca Mikahn, our featured Denver artist for The Solution Showcase #8 on Saturday, 8/25 at the Meadowlark…
If you’re in the #COHipHop scene you probably already know Bianca Mikahn, our featured Denver artist for The Solution Showcase #8. She got her start in the group Paradox and on the spoken word scene before making her solo debut with Left Fist Evolution, but you might also know her as a Mercury Sauce writer, Mercury Cafe Slam Master or Check Your Head mentor. Those are a few of the titles that got me started calling Bianca the first lady of Denver hip hop, but the props she collects on the scene (as well as a few awards) really cement the claim.

You’d be hard pressed to find anyone to argue, take a quick look and listen the music/videos in the post for proof and make sure you catch Bianca Mikahn at The Solution Showcase #8, alongside Chicago’s BrandUn DeShay, Black Jordan, DJ Low Key & Lazy Eyez, inside the Meadowlark (2701 Larimer St). Starts at 9pm/21+/$5 pre-sales at all three Family Affair locations or $8 at the door.

Meet Chicago’s BrandUn DeShay, our featured out of town artist for The Solution Showcase #8 on Saturday, 8/25 at the Meadowlark…

As The Solution Showcase #8 gets closer, we wanted to introduce you to the bill. The month’s out of town headliner is Chicago MC & producer BrandUn DeShay, one of the best young talents in hip hop. BrandUn first caught our attention with his song “Why You Gotta Zodiac Me Like That?” and his production work for Dom Kennedy (“Locals Only”), Casey Veggies (“Ridin Round Town”) & Odd Future (before parting ways with the group, at one point he was a member).
Above: BrandUn DesShay “World Famous” Video / Below: Danny Brown “Radio Song” (prod. by BrandUn Deshay)
Since then, BrandUn has released a steady stream of quality mixtape releases (including Your Favorite! MixTape 2: Special Edition & Volume 3! To Get Ready) and continued to produce tracks for some of the top new artists in hip hop, including Danny Brown (“Radio Song”, “Pac Blood” & “Party All The Time” from XXX), Curren$y (“Racing Stripes”), Sir Mikey Rocks (formerly of the Cool Kids), Rockie Fresh (Maybach Music Group), Kendrick Lamar, TiRon, OverDoz, Von Pea & recent Billboard cover feature Mac Miller. All this led up to the release of his highly anticipated All Day DeShay album last Fall, which spawned the popular singles “World Famous”, “1Up” & “Ur Fresh” and cemented BrandUn DeShay as one of the best all around artists in hip hop today.

Check out the videos in this post and this interview with Hip Hop DX to get more familiar with a name that you’re gonna be hearing a lot more of from here on out and make sure you catch BrandUn DeShay making his Denver debut at The Solution Showcase #8 w/Bianca Mikahn, Black Jordan, DJ Low Key & Lazy Eyez, inside at the Meadowlark (2701 Larimer). Starts at 9pm/21+/$5 pre-sales at all three Family Affairs or $8 at the door.

Saturday, 8/25 at 9PM -> The Solution Showcase #8 w/Chicago’s BrandUn DeShay, Bianca Mikahn, Black Jordan, DJ Low Key & Lazy Eyez at the Meadowlark…
SATURDAY, 8/25 at 9PM -> “It’s been a long time, we shouldn’t have left you…”. After a scheduling issue in July and breaking from our formula to honor some of Denver’s best DJs in June, The Solution Showcase is back on track with another ridiculously dope lineup. For The Solution Showcase #8, we’re importing infamous Chicago MC and producer BrandUn DeShay, the first lady of Denver hip hop Bianca Mikahn, criminally underrated producer Black Jordan (from Team Latchkey, fka Jay Gunna), DJ Low Key & Lazy Eyez.
BrandUn DeShay is a classic double threat, having released numerous critically acclaimed mixtapes as an MC/producer while also doing beats for the likes of Dom Kennedy, Curren$y, Danny Brown, Von Pea, Mac Miller, Sir Michael Rocks (of the Cool Kids) & others. Having come up in the group Paradox, Bianca Mikahn has been rocking mics on the Denver circuit with the Mercury Sauce collective for years, making quite a name for herself in the usually male-driven hip hop scene. Black Jordan, who’ll be celebrating the release of his Basement Instinct beat tape at the party, blew us away with his music at The Solution Beat Battle earlier this year and we’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to feature his production at the showcase ever since. You probably already know about DJ Low Key and Lazy Eyez if you’re reading this, but if not, we’ve both been pushing quality hip hop for years in Denver, trying to make the kind of events we’d like to go to happen, while winning an award or two in the process.
Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with someone on the bill, a big part of The Solution Showcase is about discovering dope new music and we’ll be linking up music, videos and more info on all the artists as we get closer to the party. So stay tuned to DenverSolution.com to learn more about the performers and hopefully we’ll see you on 8/25! 21+ /// $5 Pre-sales now available at all three Family Affair locations & get you 15% off your entire purchase /// $8 at the door /// Doors at 9.
Meet LA’s Theo Martins…Originally scheduled for The Solution Showcase, you can catch him at Goodness on Sunday, 7/29 for free!
From djlowkey.com: I first heard MC/DJ Theo Martins when he seemingly feel on the hip hop scene out of nowhere (Providence, RI actually) with his Okayplayer-backed mixtape “The Birth”, which dropped with instant acclaim across the interwebs. Shortly after that, I met Theo in person while DJing for Tanya Morgan on the Hieroglyphics Freshly Dipped Tour in 2008, but somehow didn’t make the connection in the shuffle. Later on, Theo started traveling more and ultimately moved to L.A., taking on more DJ gigs while taking his MC career to the next level. In 2009, I caught up with him again when he was on tour with U-N-I and Warren G during a party we threw with Akomplice at Shag, leading to me and Sounds Supreme premiering the very dope track “Kirby’s Airwalk” on The Solution Tape #1.
A year later, Theo dropped a great EP called You Can’t Do That On Television with super talented producer $port, featuring the official release of “Kirby’s Airwalk” and the Wu-inspired “Good Will Hunting (RZA ’94)”. He followed that up with the Channel Surfin’ mixtape with Asher Roth’s DJ, Wreckineyez, and featuring the likes of U-N-I, CurT@!n$, Christian Rich, Jesse Boykins III & more. These days you can catch Theo making everything from dance-friendly tracks like “For Helena” and his Sincerely Yours, The Dance Floor project to indie type joints like his collab with Wakey!Wakey! to straight hip hop joints like “Mario Kart” and features with the likes of Fresh Daily, Laws, Ced Hudges & Donwill.
Don’t miss a chance to see Theo Martins rapping and spinning on Sunday, 7/29 at the DenverFrank.net 4 Year Anniversary Party, along with DJ Low Key, DJ Chonz, DJ Ear Attent, guest hosts DenverFrank and Jessica Simmons and more at Goodness on the Meadowlark’s incredible patio (2701 Larimer St).
Check out this excellent interview with Respect Mag from earlier this year to get more familiar with Theo and we’ll see you at the show:
Exclusive Interview: Theo Martins Speaks on His New Sound and Upcoming Album
Posted by DiskiBusiness on Wednesday, February 29, 2012
You can follow Theo Martins on Twitter, and check out more of his music on his website.
Theo Martins is an emcee that hails from Rhode Island. Four months ago, he visited Los Angeles, and on a whim, decided to stay and crank out his debut LP, Wonderland. He insists on breaking through the breadth of uninspired sameness in the game, and wants to change the world through music, by making tracks that move you — emotionally, spiritually, and physically. While putting the finishing touches on his album, he took time to talk to RESPECT. about how he got into rapping, how he finally settled on his stage name, his new sound, his album, and the importance of being accessible. Hit the jump for the full interview.
So you started out as a DJ and called yourself S-Class, right? How’d you decide to make the transition from spinning the records to making them yourself?
I’ve always performed. I have an older sister and we both would make up songs in the house and perform them as little kids, so I’ve always had the urge to perform music on a bigger scale, and taking the first step as a DJ was great because I loved playing records and controlling an audience through just playing music, but I knew I wanted to do more — it was a process of evolution.
Why did you decide to use the name Theo rather than S-Class?
I started running with “S-Class.†I was gaining popularity, and I’d traveled a lot under that name, so I thought it’d be cool just to use that. But around the time, I remember Wale had just started emerging, and I was really inspired by how he just used his real name. And I thought to myself: “Man, I think it’d be cool if I just go by my name.†It’s shortened, clearly — my full name is Theophilus, but I go by Theo, and I figured that’d be cool.
Rather than coming up with something random that you’ll want to change eventually?
Yeah. I really love cartoons and the idea of stage names and stuff, but I guess Theo is good enough.
Your first two mixtapes seemed to have more of that classic hip-hop feel with tracks like “Sweetest Language,†and “Kirby’s Airwalk.†Sincerely Yours, The Dance Floor was a marked change in your sound. What brought on that change?
I wanted to do more sonically. When I first came in, it was a lot of me mimicking my influences — Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Pharrell, and N.E.R.D. I was just mimicking my way until SYTDF. I was trying to take a full step into something that was new, that had more life to it, that had color, that had more of a pulse to it. I wanted to try things that really excited me. That was the jump. I needed something bright. And you could see that in the artwork — It was neon pink! [laughs]. I just needed to set a contrast. Rap music now, it’s great but sometimes I feel it’s a bit dull.
Yeah, you do tend to see more and more of the same.
Yeah, you know, it tends to be contagious, and it sets this wrong pattern for people to follow. So you can feel when someone’s doing something really genuine or if it’s really just another aim to be popular. You can do anything you want, and I really like that about being an artist. I could do something super underground, and then come back and do something poppy. And around that time I was trying to get my footing and find what works for me and what sounds good. I wasn’t where I’m at now, but I was heading there, and it was a good start.
One of the things I’ve found that set you apart is how personal you are with your fans. Do you think that’s contributed to your expanding fan base?
I’m a human too. I fight the same fight that they fight. And if we’re fighting the same fight, then let’s join. In my music, I’m always expressing this sense of empowerment and freedom for people to do what they want and be who they are, but if I’m gonna be locked away in this fortress and can’t communicate with anybody, then what’s the point? It’s like, “I’m approachable, come say hi to me.â€
So, you said you were taking a hiatus from Twitter until the album was wrapped. Now that you’re back, can we assume that it’s almost done?
My friend, yes. Lordy, Lord [laughs]. I feel like it’s hard sometimes to take people seriously when they’re like “Hey man, listen, I’ve got something great†every five minutes. I really had to buckle down and separate from everything and have this album sound the way I want it to sound. It was like “this is my life in the last year, and I want it to be told perfectly.â€
You also don’t tend to flood the internet with large volumes of music. You’re selective with what you put out.
I look at it like a great product. Let’s say, Steve Jobs and the iPhone on Apple. These people, they know what they have and they know that it’s really good. And because they know that it’s worth something, they’re going to make sure that it’s right first. And when it’s right, and they give it to one person, they know that one person will turn into two, which will turn into ten, 50, 100, and eventually, 1 million. I don’t really see the need in spamming someone with my stuff. I know its good, and I’m working at getting better and better, but I’m sure if it really moves someone, they’ll share it. I don’t want it to be because I told them to tell 8 friends. That’s not what changes the world — I don’t believe in that.
You said you hadn’t planned on making the album until you moved to LA. So how did you end up there?
Being from the East Coast, I’d never visited California. I figured I’d visit, and then once I got there, I just figured, “I’m just not gonna leave.†It was so random, but it was just what I needed.
Where did the title, Wonderland, come from?
It was originally influenced by the film, Alice in Wonderland. It’s one of my favorite movies. I’m a big Disney buff. It also correlates to my life as far as where I’ve been, where I’m at now, and where I’m going. It’s the point in life where you start to recall and reflect on what’s important to you and what’s not, and if you want things to change or you want them to stay the same — ‘wondering’ where you’re going to ‘land.’
That’s deep, man.
Yeah — it’s’ something. It was just a process of  getting everything in my heart and mind into music form, and working with a team of producers to create something that’s life-changing.
So, is Wonderland going to be more pensive than your past work?
It is. It gets a bit pensive. And even more introspective. Just really thinking to myself about a lot of the frustrations that I’ve had and a lot of the questions that I want answered. It’s very much a smile with a grin– very Tim Burton-esque.
You’ve sampled a lot of Indie Pop groups like Foster the People, Miike Snow, and others. Can we expect to hear more sampling on the album, or is it going to be more original production from people you’ve working with before, like Kris Fame and $port?
Yeah, it’s actually going to be more original. There’s only one song on the album that contains a sample and it’s because $port is really stubborn, but it’s too great of a record. It’s called “The The Flowersâ€. It’s my farewell to a relationship I know I can’t change and he has crafted the perfect soundtrack.
Are there any other producers we should know about?
There’s Kris Fame who’s from Rhode Island, and Austin White who’s Chicago-bred, amazing, and so eccentric. I’m also working with this production group out here called Earth Moon Earth that makes really good instrumentation, and two other good friends of mine that’s you’ll hear and you’ll love.
Dope. When can we expect to hear it?
Maybe 2013. I’m totally kidding. I’m actually trying to have it out by April. I should be done by the next week. I’m sitting down with my creative director, that’s Tomas Whitmore, who’s an extraordinary man. He’s been working with like will.i.am for some time now. We’re finalizing a lot of ideas. The music’s already done. There’s just a few finishing touches, and voila.
The Solution Showcase #8 update aka we’ll catch y’all on 8/25 + Catch Theo Martins (LA) & more for free at Goodness on 7/29…
So here we are, close to the 4th Saturday of the month and still barely a mention of The Solution Showcase #8…What gives? Here’s what happened, due to a miscommunication between the Meadowlark and a charity event that was original scheduled for 7/28 (the date The Solution Showcase #8 was originally set for), the venue ended up being double-booked for a significant portion of the time that we’d be throwing the event. Not being the type to argue with a charity, we decided to postpone the Solution Showcase for the month of July, but that’s not the interesting part of the story.
Here’s where it gets interesting. I had already booked the planned out of town guest for The Solution Showcase #8, Okayplayer favorite and Los Angeles-based, Providence-bred MC/DJ Theo Martins before getting the news and, having a great relationship with the Meadowlark & Red Bull, they offered to cover the costs of bringing him out so we added him to the lineup for Goodness on Sunday, 7/29 (I hope you already know about Goodness, my new weekly Sunday afternoon party on the Meadowlark’s beautiful patio /// 2701 Larimer St). So now you can catch Theo Martins, rapping and spinning, as well as the original planned lineup for Goodness; myself, Denver legend DJ Chonz, the very dope and highly slept-on DJ Ear Attent and guest hosts Jessica Simmons (the infamous Solution bartender) and man about town DenverFrank in celebrating the 4 year anniversary of his infamous Denver culture blog, DenverFrank.net. The lineup is stacked and in Goodness tradition, there’s no cover, so come on down for what promises to be a great day (then, after Goodness, check out Fifty/50, the new Sunday night party that me and Jessica Simmons are launching at Tryst; more info here and on the flyer below).
SATURDAY, 6/23 -> The Solution Showcase #7 w/Deejay Tense, K-Tone, Cysko Rokwel, DJ Top Shelf, Gyp Da Hip & DJ Low Key at the Meadowlark…
SATURDAY, 6/23 from 9pm-2am ->
1 Night. 6 DJs. 6 styles.
For one night only, we’re flipping the formula for The Solution Showcase and making #7 the CO DJ Edition w/K-Tone, Cysko Rokwel, DJ Top Shelf, Deejay Tense, Gyp Da Hip & DJ Low Key aka all six of the DJs nominated for “best hip hop DJ” in the Westword Music Showcase (make sure to vote for your favorite here by 6/25). It’ll be rare chance to see why the six of us were nominated on the same night, in the same building, with a fresh party vibe at the Meadowlark (2701 Larimer) /// 21+ /// $5 with an RSVP to RSVP@DenverSolution.com or Westword Music Showcase ticket stub or $8 at the door.
Shouts to the Meadowlark, home of the The Solution Showcase & Goodness…They were featured in 5280 Magazine’s “best bars in Denver” issue…
A few months back, 5280 Magazine published the list of the best bars in Denver and included The Meadowlark in their top spots for music. That wasn’t enough though, they published a picture of DJ Dozen from The Solution Showcase #1 along with the article to make it that much sweeter. I agree with them, the Meadowlark has been one of the best venues I’ve worked with! Catch The Solution Showcase once a month and Goodness on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays all Summer long at this fine, award-winning establishment. See you there!
